01 Oct Season Wrap-up: U20
The U20 season started with good numbers in the pre-season, the boys really pushed hard. Come the 1st warm up game we had over 45 u20s.The boys did extremely well against Brackenfell and UCT u20s, but we just lacking in certain areas. Due to the large numbers we entered an u20B team the Billies into the u20 reserved league playing the likes of UCT, Hamiltons, Falsebay, ect. The Billies boys dis extremely well with standout victories over Falsebay and UCT
Back to the U20A the Millies, the boys struggled to gel as coming out of high school into the new environment of club rugby looked to be challenging as this cost us a few games in the beginning of the season, but after that early slump and the boys getting to know each other it was game on, with massive victories against Macassar 97-3 and 36-0 vs Villagers that was the stand out games.
As for next year we have a core group of juniors that will now be seniors next year, and with a large number of youngsters coming in we ready to hit Super A with a bang
